  • Imad Abselem

looks like easy money for Bethesda

  • Densanity

    Cool vs Warm temperature settings

  • Dovahkiin

am i the only one who noticed the old water texture looked more realistic?

  • CSGOAscension

why does the original look better to me?

  • Indzo

WOOW, its like the same game, only a bit brighter and colored.

  • Xanthous Fish Jeretuna

Bethesda : "Hey skyrim fans! We turned that saturation up so pay money for a new version!"Fans : "Yes please Bethesda"

  • Final Fantasy

is it me or original is better because its more darkish ? I like the dark aspect about a dark time, I dont care about colors.

  • Subscribed

60€ for same game with shaders wooohooo

  • Buried With You

all they did was change the hue and added foliage.

  • EmeraldView

So..... the Remaster just takes the beautiful Skyrim visuals and makes them look shitty.Got it.

  • SonicRising

Most of the originals looked better to me, the remastered ones just looks brighter with the contrast turned up. I don't know graphics but I know what I like.

  • Hunter Warner

Hmm, the textures look better on the original... I also don't like how colorful everything is, hopefully you can turn that down. Skyrim isn't really meant to be a rainbow of colors imo.

  • mitrooper

Remaster is just the old game with yellow vaseline splattered over it... ;P

  • AlexRazel

water and other some pics is worst than original

  • Felicia Lindblom

This makes me so sad and angry lol. Is the bloom effect getting popular again or what? To me, the original version is much more comfortable to look at than the remaster version. Too much blur and objects looks unsharp. And second, I can make my game look much better than this remake thanks to mods, and I have been able to do that in ages. It's also more personal than a HD remake where Bethesda pretty much decides how the graphics will look..

  • George

Is Oblivion Remastered really too much to ask? Seriously... Skyrim is already a beautiful game. It was praised for its good graphics for Pete's sake. "ew its 2011 here have a 2016 graphics skyrim" It's just. Shrubbery and warmer colors. I can't even. They wouldn't make as much money for an Oblivion remake though. Oblivion's still my favorite Elder Scrolls game even though Skyrim is good

  • rfgerdtg43dreffwae4rf23w

In my humble opinion DX-11 and 64-bit support are a BIG deal for a re-release.

  • Gleb Alekseevich Zyryanov

    Original is better than remaster

  • 【ɐpɐɹıP ɐuɐʇıdɐC】

Basically they have added shaders and put some new plants xD I just hope the same mods from nexus work with the new version, it's free after all :D

  • Nathan Simon

I think they really did make skyrim kind of "warmer", and how it doesn't look so damn cold.

  • Shar

People forget they made it 64bit. This will bring us much better mods.

  • Nation of Masturbation

The only differences are the lighting and shading lol.

  • Dmitriy950

ремастер с мыльцом каким то на некоторых сравнениях оригинал лучше

  • Aleksandr Novikov

Blur, i am need more blur! Original best

  • Adam

Skyrim remastered is just a bad enb

  • augustuslxiii

The comparisons aren't very accurate because the screenshots are taken in different lighting. Which isn't to say the new version doesn't have better graphics; it does. A little bit.I'd be more interested to see screens at the same time of day. Because the lighting is better in the remaster, too.

  • Daniel Williams

I think the remastered looks better and it's good because now people who prefer console don't have to have a beastly pc to play Skyrim to the point where it can look next gen with all the enb and mods

  • Anakin Skywalker

MorrowWind Remastered too much to ask for?

  • Berke Tuğral

The most important thing is: Skyrim remastered is going to be 64 bits so you can increase your ram and overload Skyrim with mods! :)

Is it free, if I have the Lengedary edition already?

  • Ree Play

Even the original in this video looked better than my ps4 remastered skyrim

  • Andre

The Old one looks better lmao

  • KwHallo

I honestly prefer its cool and all, like they did a good job but it just looks all to modern, i prefer more of a "ancient" look.

  • Carolus Användare

the witcher 2 from 2011 or 2012 still looking better than "remastered" skyrim

  • rumle

The improvements are dubious and with modding the original skyrim is waaay prettier

  • Saints Row

remaster for consoles. on pc it looks 20 times better with couple of mods.

  • 5persondude

While the differences are minimal, i do like the look of the Remaster. Reminds me of Oblivion's bright and colorful artstyle with Skyrim's more gritty and realistic look. Besides, if it runs in 64-bit mode of PC, that will allow for more memory and (hopefully) less bugs (though its a Bethesda game, so i won't hold my breath even though Bethesda could've easily spent the past year or so bug fixing after releasing Fallout 4)

  • CastielUchiha

    Skyrim now with more fog

  • shash wolf

    don't fix what isn't broke

  • mnb323

Okay so everyone knows that this is essentially pointless on pc and that's why it's free, but apparently I've just learned that this will actually end being the version you wanna play, even on pc due to the increased modding capability. The whole engine is being moved to support 64bit windows and can utilize more than 4gb of ram. If I'm not mistaken that means less crashing and more playing. Luckily for me there will be no transfer process since I completely gutted my pc of mods months ago but I'm ready to jump back in on a clean slate.

  • friggen666

The changes are to little in my opinion

  • Zelda Henson

    Why is everything so... orange??

  • Marshall Mathers the 4th

Uh remastered wins by a landslide in my opinion.

  • Jiří Dušek

The diffference is really so small that I dont think it will change the gaming experience

  • Corbin Bishop

    They look practically the same.

  • Laylatee

It seems like there's only lighting graphics. I'm actually disappointed; when they talk about 'modern graphics' I imagined moving armour and hair, ACTUAL brand new graphics suited to modern technology. Not just lighting and slight retextures that you can easily get for free as mods. Jesus. Bethesda : "Hey Skyrim fans! We turned that saturation up so pay money for a new version!" This so called "Special Edition" is so f... non-essential Skyrim with mods looks a million time better then this crap. When you see Fallout 4, then you'd expect PHENOMENAL graphics - around three years they spent on THIS CRAP? Unbelievable.

  • Malovus

Looks better but still shit even compared with games released in 2011

  • Arda Uzunova

    Original= Grassles Special= Grass

  • Bruno Magno

I like more the Original xD

  • Waqar Zahid

The original Skyrim with mods look far better than this so called 'special' edition...

  • ketxxx1

Even for a freebie (on PC) this really doesn't look that impressive. Its been updated to 64bit so constant CTDs shouldn't be a issue, the colour palette is more saturated and the shaders have been updated along with some stuff being added here and there, but thats it. Bethesda could at least include proper HD textures and introduce parallax mapping if they want to call it a "remaster". Lets hope this comparison is of unfinished areas and things like proper HD textures and parallax mapping will make a appearance in the finished article.

  • Mr Jordan L

I'm a PC gamer, but all these people complaining that mods can make the game look like this, you are hardly seeing the point. The engine for the remaster has been extended to 64bit, Like Fallout 4. And therefor there will be less crashing, and room for even more MODS as skyrim had a memory limit. Do you want to go back to your times of 32bit limited memory, or do you want a 64bit masterpiece which will allow you to install mods you couldn't use with other space-taking m ods? End of discussion.

  • Autistic Marsupial

"remaster" but you should do "Remaster vs Ultra-modded Skyrim" when the game is released!

  • Theodore Warthen

i would much rather have a remastered new vegas oblivion or fallout 3. Skyrim's graphics and animations aren't much worse than fallout 4. Skyrim doesn't need it

  • ryanspears1986

I'm a console gamer, but I'm convinced that you haven't really played Skyrim unless you've played it on PC. Honestly, it looks like the remaster only reinforces this notion. Looks much better on PC compared to PS4 and XBone.

  • Airo Airas

some shots look better in the original, some shots look better in remastered. But both still look like shit compared to what enb, good foliage, texture and water combos can do. Of course the remastered is still a good thing because DX11 and 64bit which will make the game more stable. And that means more room for even more graphics modding improvements!

  • Army

I don't know if I prefer the orig or the remastered

  • トカゲの財団

But... there's no difference aside from different color scheme in some places

  • WorisonTV

I don't see any big difference especially when you play the game...and water look more realistic in the original one...I wanna see a big remastered version where everything graphic change completely! not adding light and shadows and things around...come on

  • Ezio Auditore

Is legendary perks in special edition?

  • gandharzero

Not that impressive.More (low detail) vegetation and brighter/warmer colors.Completly destroys the original cold/dark/grim feeling.

  • SnowyParker

I can't wait for this to come out so I can chill and play on ps4, But legitimately, my graphics mods on pc make skyrim look better then that wow..

  • Gabriel Gutiérrez

Men the original is muuuch better

  • Deno Moto

Added a fog effect, improved the lighting (made it warmer). Added a blur and bloom effect to everything. Added a few objects. No Thanks.

  • stewman536

Different lighting? More motion blur? That's it?

  • Renan Câmara

    The music...So beautiful.
